The decision was taken on behalf of the Chief Minister of the state after a high level meeting with Chitra Ramachandran, Special Chief Secretary, Department of Education, Commissioner and Syed Omar Kaleel, Secretary, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), Director of Government Examinations.
